SSURGO data provided to Esri September 2011 by USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Fort Worth, TX. The Esri Soils Team created a map with 130 of the most useful variables in SSURGO. This map displays information depending on scale: Soil Order (soil type) from 1:40,000 and greater; Soil order and Suborder between 1:9,000-1:39,999; lastly Runoff Ability from 1:8,999 and smaller along with labels that provide MapUnit Name.
